Sea Scout Ship 244 and Ship 4019 had the privilege of serving as color guard at the awards banquet for US Coast Guard Auxiliary District 5 Southern Region. We had some great discussions about partnerships with USCG Auxiliary leaders from North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, and DC. We also had the special honor of talking with Admiral Keith Smith, USCG, Commander, 5th Coast Guard District and Master Chief Leonard Barbazon, USCG, Command Master Chief, 5th Coast Guard District.
