“Come on, give it a try.”
We brought our own Sunfish to Jordan Lake on Saturday, but quickly accepted the invitation to sail with members of the Carolina Sailing Club on their Flying Scots and Buccaneers. First, there was coaching session in the parking lot, including chalkboard diagrams to review racing rules. Then we assisted to prep boats for launching. Brisk winds, expert advice and clear skies made for a great weekend of sailing. We were very glad we “gave it try”. Thank you Carolina Sailing Club!
